  Looking for slow, disorganized, poor service, and did I mention slow? This is the place you want to go. We waited 45 minutes for our food before walking out. Bean burrito and flautas. Folks who sat down 15 to 20 minutes after we did received their food before us. Definitely over priced for a 45 minute wait for a burrito ($9). There are other restaurants in Lyons.

  We were in there on Sunday and asked for the gluten-free menu. We explained that it was a serious request due to Celiac Disease and the two ladies, our server and someone else...the chef, maybe?, took our requests and instructions about nothing being fried in the same fryer as gluten, etc. very seriously. My son had a very happy birthday that day and no one got sick because of La Mariposa's careful food preparations. Thank you!! What a wonderful thing it is to be able to go somewhere and eat great food safely.
